PEXA stands for Property Exchange Australia. It is an electronic lodgment network: a national online system for:
- preparing electronic dealings and checking that they can be lodged;
- settling property transactions electronically, including payment of settlement money, duties, taxes and other disbursements; and
- lodging dealings electronically with the land registry.
